Burroughs: The film examines the life and times of controversial writer William S. Burroughs with an intimacy that has never been seen before and never repeated. The film shows the development of Burrough's unique literary style and unconventional life, including his trips from the American Midwest to North Africa and several personal tragedies. Burroughs: The film is the first and only documentary to be made with Burroughs. The film was directed by the late Howard Brookner. It started in 1978 when Brookner's older work at NYU Film School was expanded into a film that was completed five years later in 1983. I will tell you something. I ended up watching it four times whole movie online in the web, almost without breaks. I'm the biggest fan in the world of movies like this.
