Where the Buffalo Roam

Watch Where the Buffalo Roam (1980)

The deranged adventures of Gonzo journalist Hunter Thompson and his attorney Oscar Acosta, referred to in the movie as "Laslow". Thompson attempts to cover the Super Bowl and the 1972 Presidential election in his typical drug-crazed state, but is continually and comically sidetracked by his even more twisted friend Laslow. Allegedly based on actual events.

Where the Buffalo Roam is one of my favorite movie from year 1980. Most movies, even the greatest ones, evaporate like mist once you've returned to the real world; they leave memories behind, but their reality fades free quickly. But not with this one :). Art Linson has several directorial successes. There are some scenes in this movie that I will remember them until I die. Every single performance is incredible. Not to mention that it has the best music in a movie. Art Linson proved that the whole film can hold the viewer's attention. Where the Buffalo Roam is one of the best possible choice for a saturday evening with cinema.... Show more
