Sullivans Travels

Watch Sullivans Travels (1941)

Sullivan is a successful, spoiled, and naive director of fluff films, with a heart-o-gold, who decides he wants to make a film about the troubles of the downtrodden poor. Much to the chagrin of his producers, he sets off in tramp's clothing with a single dime in his pocket to experience poverty first-hand, and gets some reality shock.

Sullivans Travels - fantastic movie. Most movies, even the greatest ones, evaporate like mist once you've returned to the real world; they leave memories behind, but their reality fades free quickly. But not with this one :). I sat for a long time after the end of Sullivans Travels, reflecting on my thoughts. You just have to watch Sullivans Travels. Special effects, action and characters give this high rating. Preston Sturges proved that the whole film can hold the viewer's attention. Don't waste your time, click on play button and watch....
