Watch Hagazussa (2018)

Superstition prevailed in the distant Austrian Alps in the 15th century. While the plague has haunted the earth, paranoid farmers exchange warning folk tales about evil spirits, pagans, Jews and other outsiders. Seen suspiciously by the neighbors, the young Albrun and her mother share a modest log cabin in a snow-covered mountain forest. Albrun is orphaned at a young age and remains traumatic and lonely, although she still hears her mother's ghostly voice calling her in the middle of the night. The adult Albrun (Aleksandra Cwen) is now a single mother and still lives with a newborn on the forest farm. A local priest avoids them and the neighbors still routinely harass them: "Nobody wants your rotten milk, you ugly witch." A farmer's wife lures Albrun into fearful friendship, but her motives prove hostile and encourage a younger woman to undertake a cruel sadomasochistic sexual ritual. In the last act, the brutal, outlawed, probably crazy albrun plunges into the psychedelic nightmare of hellish visions and cannibalistic horrors.... Show more

Definitely movie from my personal top 10 of best movies ever. I will grant that my expectations were very low before seeing this movie. Hagazussa is a great movie and there is no doubt. Hagazussa is the only movie I saw full, more than once. The variety of dialogues, which is the power of this production, excites the viewer, especially against today's movies that are clearly weak and so boring. Lukas Feigelfeld proved that the whole film can hold the viewer's attention. Watch Hagazussa online or download it.... Show more
