Julián Torralba is a former stunt filmmaker based in Almeria, Spain. He and some of his colleagues, who once lived on American westerns that were shot in Spain, now boil down to doing stunt shows for a small audience on a crumbling set built for these old westerns. Julian fights with dark memories of the death of his son, who is also a stunt man, and the estrangement from his daughter-in-law Laura and her son Carlos. Carlos, a young boy, is fascinated by his late father's life and runs away to join Julián and his Ma Beens team. There Carlos is initiated into the chaotic life of these drinking-resistant artificial cowboys. But when Laura, a strong management team looking for a new destination for the resort, finds that Carlos has joined the hated Julián, he decides to destroy the rest of Julian's proud career. Julian and cowboys decide to fend off the only way they know.... Show more

Definitely movie from my personal top 10 of best movies ever. Most movies, even the greatest ones, evaporate like mist once you've returned to the real world; they leave memories behind, but their reality fades free quickly. Not this one. I sat for a long time after the end of 800 Bullets, reflecting on my thoughts. 800 Bullets filled me with difficult to explain energy got me so immersed in it. Special effects, action and characters give this high rating. Easily the movie with the best dialogues ever. 800 Bullets is one of the best possible choice for a saturday evening with cinema....
